SHUKR positively contributes to the local communities in which we operate. Whilst others are moving production to China, SHUKR has based its manufacturing plant in a Muslim country, albeit at a higher cost, where we employ religious Muslims – everyone at SHUKR prays regularly. Most of our management team members are former students of the Islamic Sciences and SHUKR actively encourages them to teach their knowledge to others
With your money, we pay the best wages in the market to the workers at the SHUKR production factory in Damascus and our administrative offices in Jordan, enabling them to comfortably support their families. SHUKR is closed on Fridays in order that our staff, wherever they are based, can enjoy the benefits of Islamic holidays
